Thanks again for your help in getting the t-shirts to me before our trip. We wore them through the airports at Manchester and Boston, where the security procedure was awkward and a bit of patience was needed while J** tried to cope. The shirts got a response from helpful airport staff, flight attendants, shopkeepers and kind strangers whose curiosity and conversation helped to pass the time as well as to diffuse a few difficult moments. (I found it especially helpful in the supermarket when J** emptied a bottle of bubble bath into his lap when my head was turned!)
We're going to be wearing our shirts at Alton Towers on Sunday, where folks get agitated when they see us bypassing the queues with our disabled wristbands. They'll save us having to respond to the rudeness we often get!

Thank You so much for the badges. Just writing to let you know how much the badges have helped us with our usual Saturday shopping trips! We have noticed that M**'s temper tantrums are now accepted and people in the queue now show a lot of tolerance towards M's need to read everything on belt!
I am now making friends at the supermarket, because people are noticing the badges and stopping to talk to both M** and me!
